AI in mental health must be developed responsibly.
Through collaboration with the University of Liverpool, Pxl-Persona is embedding academic oversight and research alignment into the development of our mental health digital twin personas.
This partnership provides access to expertise across psychology, digital health and AI ethics. It ensures our work sits within a research-informed framework rather than commercial experimentation alone.
Our current focus is building clinically informed avatars that simulate depressive traits in structured training environments. Academic collaboration supports evaluation design, ethical governance and future research pathways.
By combining clinical co-design, technical validation and academic oversight, we are working toward a scalable, ethically grounded model for AI-powered mental health training.
